About Cormac Buckley

Hey. Thanks so much for checking out my website. My name is Cormac Buckley. I'm a singer-songwriter from Ireland. Faith and music are both huge passions of mine. I love to create beauty; beautiful melodies and lyrics that point to the Creator who is Beautfy.

I am so thrilled to share my new album 'A Collection of Songs About Love' with you. It's sort of a concept album, a journey of looking at love as something far more beautiful and brave than it's given credit for or depicted in the world around us. It looks at everything from romantic love, self-sacrificial love, social justice and even unrequited love; all of which point to God's eternal and unconditional love for us. The songs came about in the aftermath of my previous album, but have taken 10 years to get to this stage due to a mixture of life and also wanting to get them right. I'm really excited to release them now and feel like we've done justice to the songs. I recorded them with the talented Rónán Johnston.

I have been crafting songs for many years alongside my ministry of leading worship at the Living Water Community in Dublin as well as my day job as a teacher. I have also presented the show 'Acoustic Sunday' for many years on 'Spirit Radio'.

I pray that you will enjoy these songs and that you are blessed by them. If they can point to God in any way or even just inspire a little or a bring a bit of beauty then they have served their purpose.
